THIS THREAD HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL

I'll try to make it better by saying that RATM will be reuniting for the Coachella Festival in California and for THREE dates on the Rock the Bells Festival (in New York and Cali only)...but the bad blood between Morello and De la Rocha (and the rest of the original RATM band members) seem to be diffusing, so there is a chance that Rage will get back together, especially since Chris Cornell's departure from Audioslave happened so recently

Yeah! We get to hear more propaganda songs about propaganda that rearrange the same 4 notes and include some strange sound effect solo somewhere after the 2nd verse. Sure to please.

I'm listening to the first album now. I don't agree with the tripe rhetoric, but the instrumentals are nice and the beats are catchy.

I think a lot of people forget, or don't realize, that their first album came out in 1992. When this thing came out, it was one of the badest records to influence heavy music. Chaos AD and Urban Discipline came out around this time too, but that's beside the point.

Rage is one of the top groups of the 90s

They were mostly original, and no one has yet to really copy their sound.

So many different people listened to them

Whatever RATM was doing One Minute Silence did it better.

You could also say Guano Apes had a big RATM influence.

Their first album is one of my absolute favorites. Their sound was original. It was rap-rock before the late 1990s. but no lame DJ

I think musically, the first one is the best. However, Zack was more developed lyrically on the second.

The first album is quite revolutionary. In many ways.
