"Sing? Play an instrument? In a band?

Then we want YOU! No matter what your musical act may be (solo guitar, violin, flute, piano, singing, composition, etc.), compete to win cash prizes with no entry fee! $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd, and $25 for 3rd.

Mu Beta Psi is hosting the 24th annual MusicFEST on Friday, April 27, at 7pm! Wind down after "dead" week and get yourself pumped before the Hillsborough Hike by attending (or performing!) in this year's MusicFEST. Tickets are $5 for everyone, and all proceeds benefit a music scholarship.

If you'd like to participate, email evanbgraham@gmail.com to set up an audition. All acts must have at least 1 student participating. This event will only be successful if we get students to compete, so tell everyone you know and pressure those musically inclined to participate!

More info on guest performances to come later."

I don't know who will be performing this time, but here's a sample line up from a few years back

"Arcadia - 4 piece rock band
Brooks Wood - Solo vocal performance with guitar
Dread34 - 8 piece band with reggae, ska, rock, funk and jazz influences
Erin Anderson - Guitar performance along with a drummer
Firenze (exhibition, not competing)
Jazz Combo - 4 piece jazz ensemble with vocalist
The Saxpack (exhibition, not competing)"

The guy whose contact e-mail they give there can also be messaged here bubbevan & being an active brother of the fraternity he'd probably have more info than I do.
