I have an tap water filter made by Aquarium Pharmaceuticals for turning tap water in to deionized water for fish tanks. I bought it months ago and never used it, instead deciding to do with RO water. Heres a link to a full description of it, throw me your offers.http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441782204&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302030122&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023693&bmUID=1175637642016&itemNo=0&Ntt=tap+water+filter&In=All&previousText=tap+water+filter&N=2

Who gives their pets filtered water??

Its to remove heavy metals and other things from tap water to make it safe for more sensitive fish like discus and saltwater fish, its not made to be a drinking water filter.

why not add it to the RO filter and make RO/DI water? I have the RO unit connected to the sink and the DI unit connected to the output of the RO unit. My TDS readings are always 0.00

I just buy my RO water, so I never saw a need to use the DI system.
