why is it not an indorsement by baseball that he's still playing ... it's just silly to me, enough so that i dont care anymore.


While i think he took steroids, it's rediculous to treat him like a criminal until he's acctually found guilty. I think it would be a huge embarassment if Bud Selig decided not to show up.

selig (or any commisioner for that matter) doesn't have to blindly support any player -- that's what the union is for

barry bonds hasn't done anything positive for the game -- not just through alleged steriod use, but by being a jerk to fans and the media for almost twenty years

people think baseball fans hate barry because he may have taken steroids, and that this dislike of bonds has only come about in the past four or five years

i remember barry being booed at the 92 all-star game (!)

and the only person who should be embarassed is bonds

THINK he took steroids? People please pay attention to his situation if you are going to comment on it.

He has admitted to taking both the cream and the clear, although he claims he did not know what it was he was doing. He has also tested positive for amphetamines.

There is no longer a question of whether or not he has taken steroids. He has taken them. He has admitted he took them, and he has tested positive for amphetamines. End of speculation.
