I was going to take Organic 2 during the summer 2 with Novak but I think I'll have much better luck if I go DE with Sandberg during the Fall, probably along with Eng 331.

Anyway, I'm wondering if you all have some advice for Py 208N. I could take it in person at NCSU with Owen or I could do DE with Mowat. What do you all think? I tried grade distribution for Owen but didn't find anything.

I'm taking 208N with Mowat now through DE but I did 205N also - its really simple - you have 3 reading quizzes a week, 3 activities on the subjects, and 10 labs in the course - 4 tests and the final exam is multiple choice (30 questions).

The tests are 3 mult choice and 3 open answers for a total of 12/12.

I'm not sure if he follows this during the summer but he did for spring and fall.

I'm taking PY 205 during SSI and PY 208 during SSII through DE.

I'm hoping the 208 concepts aren't too hard to grasp online. I'm not really worried about 205.

do NOT take Owen....NEVER. We still don't have a syllabus and the class is almost over. Our last test had an average of something like 8 or 9 out of 26 and the class is scored on a competitive bell curve (top 10% get A's, 15%/20% get B's, etc...). Some students actually told him he's completely unaproachable because of the attitude he cops with the class, and has been improving on that ever so slightly (meaning the past week), but I don't expect people to just change overnight. I think somewhere in there he has potential to improve, but he needs to teach for at least two more semesters before he gets it right.

I had owen for precalc at ncssm, and he was a great teacher there(assuming its the same guy hair in a ponytail has a beard, dresses in Hawaiian shirts) and he was completely approachable, helped me everytime i went to see him in his office, i mean he does have an attitude but it seemed all in fun when i had him.
