I just recently adopted a 2 month old siberian husky/alaskan malamute puppy from an animal shelter back home. I was just curious what kinds of dogs/pets other people on here had?

that sounds like a good mix.

Personally I would only have mutts......Got a Boxer/Lab mix, and a Lab/?mix, (looks to be doberman, but she's smaller).

I have a lou dog

Krissy lou to be exact
she's an adopted dog that is a full blooded redbone coonhound (rare with black saddle)
but she was abused and thus removed from her home till i adopted her at 6mo.

I'll never understand how anyone can abuse a dog.

P.S. I have a 14-month-old black lab/border collie mix named Allie.

Here she is days before I adopted her from the Durham County Animal Shelter. (>3 months old)

Here she is over the summer after I got her. (~5 months old)

Here she is as she looks now. (In Oct. at 8 months old)

I used to have a cockatiel, sweet as can be, only thing he would say is 'pretty boy', lived about 10 years

Now I have 2 quaker parrots, Greenie and Michaelangelo, talkative little fuckers:

Also have a chihuhua, Junior, and 2 mix-breeds(not sure what they are, but I love them) Charlie and Buster, and a husky but no pic of her:

The crew:

Buster dances :-)

My roborovski dwarf hamster, Pepito, and my syrian, Big Bertha:

My kitties: Chester and Midnight, I have 3 more cats but no pictures of them at the moment:

An african dwarf frog and a betta, lots of guppies!, my camera won't take good pix of them because of the glare on the glass.

Three cats (technically 1 is my roommates but I feed it clean it's shitbox etc.

Stripped is Tharkin (roomies), fat one is Tsunami (aka Pudge). She was named because she used to get on her hind legs and twirl around. Now she kinda congeals. She also has a mild sock obsession and doesn't meow. She "meeps".

Now - Notrious oxide, used to be named Mabel but would never so much as respond to you using that name. I started calling her NoS one day when she went up a tree after a squirrel who obviously didn't know who it was messing with. It lost it's tail and Nos found a name. She's my outdoor cat who loves being petted but god help you if you pick her up.

The Tiels: Lilah and Titus.

A mutt named Sandy

She is probably 14 years old, and has arthritis, and has mellowed out a bunch (my friends used to be terrified of her), but hasn't slowed down much yet.

^^No problems with Bailey trying to chew on cords?

I just got Diesel (my lionhead) Friday and things are going pretty well - he has his crazy outbursts every now and then but I think I just need to learn how to discipline him properly. So far snapping/clapping and telling him no aren't working - I think it's just scaring him and pissing him off. Maybe I should just put him in his cage for timeout? What's a good amount of time out for a rabbit?

I do have to watch her. Is yours a house rabbit (outside the cage most of the time)? Bailey stays on the porch most of the time and comes inside when I can watch her, so usually her trying to chew on stuff isn't a problem. She did start chewing on one set of cables, though, and didn't really mind the sour spray, so I had to section them off so she couldn't get to them.

She's otherwise very well-tempered, though, so I don't really have to do time outs.
