WTF

cant find what to look up here-- it's almost like sticky keys, but some kind of keyboard shortcuts keep taking over and i cant type more than a few words without a menu or other window popping up

it's almost like i've hit "alt" and it's going through the menus. Except it's when I'm typing ANYTHING.

I dont even know what to look up to get this fixed. none of my sticky/filter/whatever keys are activated, but it's as annoying as that. PLZ TO HELP.

it seems, thus far, that it's limited to IE

Your keyboard is probably screwed up. Try another keyboard. Or reboot and see if the problem still occurs.

Or there could be a plug-in causing the problem.

if i were you i would bang on the ctrl and alt keys a few times
