Cool. I am having trouble with the 110. I changed the spark plug wires and now the damn thing won't start. Moreover, the air filter is catching on fire (carbeurated). Think you can help me out, then theres some beer in it for you.

sounds like you hooked the plug wires up wrong and timing is way off.

verify the firing order and check them.

that ended up being it. the number 3LH and number 6RH wires got reversed. interestingly enough the firing order instructions I found online were more specific than the ones in the manual.

My '82 Malibu used to shoot gas up out of the carburetor when I turned it off, but I never caught my air filter on fire...
