Does anyone here have the means to tow my '03 Suzuki GSX600F? I need to get it towed to a Suzuki dealership and get it serviced. The bike doesn't crank, and when it used to, it would barely idle above 1000 before dropping and stalling, even with the use of the choke. I suspect fouled plugs, but at this point I'd just like to have the dealer take care of everything, since I need an inspection anyway.
I'd like to get this done tomorrow morning, if possible. I really appreciate anyone who can help out.

The bike is in Cary and the closest Suzuki place is quite a ways away. Are there any gixxer peoples that can recommend a dealer? Anyone ever go to the Kawasaki/Suzuki place on 70?

I was kinda kidding about the bike-to-bike tow, though it has been done before, many times. 4/13/2007 8:45:31 PM |

'preciate it Igor. I'll take the tank off and check the spark plugs tomorrow. I have a feeling it's more than that, since at times, I don't even get anything when trying to start. the battery barely reads 11V on my multimeter, and once I turn the key to on, it drops to 7-ish volts and begins slowly draining, so i'm thinking something could also be wrong with the charging system. 4/14/2007 3:39:50 AM |

if your running at 1000 rpm voltage might be low (i know my old kat 1994, didnt start charign the battery supossity until it hit like 2k rpm, just didtn turn the alternator fast enough) although 7 volts is really low.
Is fuel getting in there right?
When did the problem start
might try charging the battery and seeing if it runs right after that)

i'd let Igor look at it before you spend $texas$ at the stealership, sounds like you a have a few simple problems, fouled plugs, a bad battery, and probably a bad voltage regulator, keeping the battery form charging, leading to weak starts, fouled plugs, and a dead battery from cranking 4/14/2007 9:05:25 AM |
