I have a 94 Sentra. Manual says it takes auto transmission fluid as power steering fluid. I thought that was kinda weird. I read online that some vehicles do take atf for power steering. What's in there now looks nothing like transmission fluid, unless its been in there so long that it turned. I was wondering what other type of power steering fluid might be in there? If i'm going to top it off should I use atf, or something else?

use ATF
