I was there last weekend and they had a few Macs on sale. Nothing crazy or anything.

if you do your research correctly, you will see that things are not really "on sale." what they did was mark up the items at a certain percentage and then give a percent off due to store closings and needing to clear inventory. however, even with the certain percent off, you are still most likely gonna pay more than online. i realized this last month at a store that is closing by me. they just want to give the illusion you are getting a discount but you really are not.

thats not b3ecuase they're closing...they did that when i worked there my senior year of high school. They'd have the display prices up $200-$300 and tell people if they bought the warranty we'd give them a discount lol...part of the reason i quit...although the easy commision was good.

No, they actually have shit on sale. I bought a 6dbi wifi antenna for like $20 a few weeks back.

Good luck on finding anything in there worth buying now, though. That sale has been going on for at least 2 months now.

$20 was worth it to me for not having to wait for delivery and rebate.

All the good stuff is gone. If people weren't so fucking stupid and just collectively waited before buying shit instead of freaking out because Macs are 5% off and snatching them all up right away, you'd get some really good deals at store closings.

yeah, but company wide they managed to pick out some of the most worthless locations on the planet... i assume they thought they could save money and people would come to them, boy were they wrong...

i only got something there as a last resort... mainly because of the location...

The one thing I hated the most about that CompUSA was the fucking U-turn you had to make to get to them if you were going north on 70.

They're pretty much irrelevant here in Raleigh. Tiger has a better selection of parts and you can get anything else they sold at Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.

Took me less than 5 seconds.....http://tinyurl.com/2owfr8

of course if this was before Google maps was around it might take a few seconds longer...

scratch that you said a few weeks ago, no excuse man

that phone number didn't work. I assumed they were already closed since on compusa.com raleigh wasn't a valid location. I couldn't drive to glenwood ave. w/o knowing it wouldnt be a wasted trip.

If you're going from the beltline toward the mall (it's well past the mall) it's right past Merchants Tire. Which is on the left if you're headed that direction.

CompUSA
7101 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612
(919) 781-2799

I just called and the number worked
