umm..... wouldn't you just buy the ring and top and get someone elses actual base?

Hmmm, I was assuming that I could find one without having to do that. I don't have a lot of experience with carbs, I put a K&N on my '74 Lightweight, but it was pretty much a universal deal that hose clamped onto the the end of the intake hose. 4/22/2007 5:05:15 PM |

any standard base 5 1/8" inlet filter will work, except low profile filters, they wont clear the electric choke, i'd recommend at a least a 3" by 14" diameter for a 500 cfm carb on a small block 4/22/2007 5:37:01 PM |
