there is a bunch of random "junk" in my back yard that i want to hire someone to haul away to the dump. most of it is contained/organized in two piles. mostly scrap metal, old car parts, etc. i don't care what you do with it, so long as it's taken away. you could probably seperate the metal pieces out and make a few extra bucks at the recycling place.
if interested, pm me and we'll discuss a price. i would estimate it's probably two truck loads worth of stuff. probably will take the better part of a day including trips to the dump. faster with more than once person. 4/28/2007 2:35:12 PM |

A lot of those people do offer to haul for free, but it ends up depending on what the person needs hauled. They know what will earn them money at the scrap yard. But things like washers and dryers and other appliances as well as some kinds of metal only earn someone like $2. So depending on where you're located and what you need hauled, gas could cost a lot more than what they would earn scrapping it. Just a little information. 4/28/2007 4:16:19 PM |

^exactly. most people doing this for a "living" are really picky about what they'll take and what they won't. besides, i've got alot of non metal stuff that needs to go also, so i don't mind paying. 4/28/2007 4:51:44 PM |
