i run MAC OS X 10.3.9 - my iChat that I use for AIM is not showing my buddy list in order by who's online or not. nothing in my preferences shows me how to correct this.



do you guys have an answer ?

why? because i don't have to download some ghey AIM client with 100 different things attached to it that i dont use and hog resources.

Adium is not "some ghey aim client". it's fast, customizable (but very good right out of the box) and is not a resource hog

i have all of them up. i like ADIUM. AIM on MAX OS X is much better than on a PC. but I'm riding with iChat. it's good.

What's so bad about iChat? I don't chat very often, but it's never let me down.

I haven't gotten around to trying Adium yet, but I've heard a lot of good things about it.

- no sametime client (ok, this is one that's only a big deal for some people)
- no tabbed chat window
- buddy list entries are too big and this is not customizable
- adium plays well with quicksilver (admittedly, i never tried to use ichat with quicksilver, so this may be moot)
