so what the fuck is this:

i have the taskbar set to auto hide (it helps with a 12.1" screen)

but when i go down to grab it, nothing comes up

so i set keep on top of other windows and it doesnt auto hide

how the fuck do i make it auto hide but still retrieve it when i have a full screen window open?

a restart fixed it

i hate restarting

have you tried it with about 80 processes with a 4200 RPM drive

My task bar just dissappeared. How do I get it to come back. I tried restarting.

Actually, now just none of my open windows are showing up in the task bar. Does anyone know what the problem is.

Did somebody take a screenshot of your desktop, make it your wallpaper and hide your taskbar?
