If you can't figure this out on your own, you deserve academic probation.

^speak for yourself.

if you got an F and are a freshman, I'm pretty sure there's a way to retake the class next semester and drop the F to replace it with the better grade (assuming you get a better grade)
F will hurt your GPA alot...

http://www.ncsu.edu/policies/academic_affairs/courses_undergrad/REG02.20.6.php

yup

Quote :
"2. First Year Course Repeat Effective Date - Fall 1998

(For courses first attempted Fall 1995 and afterwards) (Link to: Previous version)

2.1. The first-year course repeat policy is a policy of forgiveness that helps new NCSU undergraduate students maintain good academic standing. The policy is necessary because new students lack familiarity with the University, and as a result, they are more likely to make errors in their choice of courses and total course load. "

it has to be a 100 or 200 lvl course

I don't mean to be rude but I have a few questions for you

First , of all don't speak for me because I did read the information on the link you gave me. Secondly, why do you and dozens of tww users have to be such Freakin smartasses when someone post a question about a topic , users generally may or may not know the answer to. In some cases, I just want with a quick and short answer from someone without the hassle of using a search engine. You weren't as bad as most users I encounter on tww(not meant to be flattering)."

Man, try to help a person out... I guess stupidity is simply something that can't be helped tho.

btw, it took me 3 minutes to go the the ncsu website and confirm what I'd heard about the repeat policy. It took me 20 seconds to return to that page and find where it stipulated that it only applies to courses taken in your first 12 months.
So, in the time it took this person to bitch at me, they could have easily looked up the info themselves instead or emailed their adviser -- which should have been the first thing they did I now agree totally with gunzz.

you wasted h a whole lot of time replying to my messages when you could simply ignore mel. But you have to waste a insignificant amount of time being a smartass and putting other people down to make yourself feel good and important on TWW , when in reality you are probably a pathetic pervert rejected by other fellow perverts and society as a whole. I'm done, you can continue being a pathetic smartass to a nonexistent audience.

lol

I'm not the one who's so pressed for time that I need to come to TWW for all my trivial questions, since google takes sooo long to figure out!
I have time to waste, so I'm wasting it by baiting an idiot for my personal amusement. By reading your other topics, it seems like alot of other people have called you an idiot, too. Maybe one day you'll get the hint.

You're right about one thing, tho... I am a pervert, as my bf can attest... but he seems to like it

Btw, was it an english/lit class you failed by chance?

Btw, was it an english/lit class you failed by chance?

that is so cliche. Can you come up with a more original comback than that? If you must know the grade of my last literature class, it was American lit , and I earned an A . I don't need to proved to any of you douchebags how well I've mastered the english language because your comments are as important to me as the comments of a nylon sock!

It wasn't a comeback, it was a question. You are a physics/statistics major, so you must have some aptitude in math, which sometimes means you're probably not that great at eng/lit, especially when most of the grammar/spelling in your posts are rather substandard.

If you want to talk about "original" comebacks, refer to your previous post where you called me an antisocial pathetic pervert.

And if you don't need to prove your "mastery" of English, then why are you touting your "A"?

I wasn't touting an A I only wanted to show that you don't to show that grades do not always have to reflect what I choose to write outside of the classroom.
"If you want to talk about "original" comebacks, refer to your previous post where you called me an antisocial pathetic pervert."

Hey, it may not be completely original, but its more original than phrases like " Is english your second language"

You don't know me. Just because my profile says I'm a physics major does not mean I suck at everything else. So maybe english is not my best subject, that doesn't mean you aren't allow to be just as good at something outside your major. Most of the science fiction writers were scientists , like Curt Vonnegut, and some SF authors like H.G. Wells, who wasn't a scientist at all gave a lot of insight to scientists about a better understanding of how the world works . One scientist (forgot his name) read a book HG wells wrote and was inspired to developed a theory about fission

I keep asking myself how a college student who claims to read so much can mutilate the English language. And before you say anything else, being lazy does not even account for it because I am pretty darn lazy when it comes to posting grammatically correct responses in threads personally. However your problems are a little beyond that

well, they do know that you got an 'F' in a course..something that is honestly hard to do unless you put 0 effort into the course.

and PS, you left Isaac Asimov off of your list. Probably the most well known combination author/scientist
