actually for people on the 998 degree track it is required

people on the 036 are not required to take it because MAE 412 was restructured

your grade is made of 4 things...4 exams worth 25 percent each

and it was an 8am class

and it was freshman year

i can think of a few "best ever"... but i don't really have a class that stands out as worst ever. the ones that I thought sucked at the time, only did so because i had a bad attitude.


but if i really had to choose worst, i would go with worst "knowledge-to-grade" ratio

and that would be PHI 340. I got an A+ in that class and didn't learn a goddamned thing.

My toughest class was probably CH 401 with Dr. Martin, but I learned a great deal of material when I took it with him. So, the low grade I received was money well spent IMO.

I can't think of one that I actually didn't care for.

Yes, PY 208 is E&M, but I was referring to the Matters and Interactions section taught at NC State using the lovely textbook written by Chabay and Sherwood..... it was a terrible class.... yet how can I complain now.... After failing 2 exams terribly I still managed to get an A..... I feel that Dr. Sherwood's grade distribution for this class was not going to improve in the advertising of his shitty textbook.

No control of the classroom, late to every class, disorganized, barely audible, will not show up for several classes at a time without notification (she missed three in a row because she couldn't remember to change her clock after daylight savings time), doesn't reply to e-mails, test questions can be confusing because she doesn't use proper english...and that's just off the top of my head.

I took the final yesterday and she couldn't even bother to show up for that. Several people had tried e-mailing her with questions concerning it and received an automated response saying she's unavailable until June. You would think a professor could at least notify a class beforehand that they won't be around or answering questions about their final. I'm just glad the material was easy or I would have been screwed.
