I know this is probably a long shot, but I'm trying to build up a large collection, and I'm spending too much on eBay buying these things. I can't find many around where I live, but I'm willing to come to Raleigh to buy some.
If anyone knows a shop around Raleigh that sells medieval supplies, let me know. Or if you have a few items lying around collecting dust, I'll be glad to purchase them.
Oh, specifically to those who collect Franklin Mint figurines, I want them all!
If you don't live in Raleigh, I'll pay shipping for them if you'd like to send em to me, if ya have Paypal.
I also collect frogs, dolphins, and lighthouses! So gimme yer stuff :-)

I have some, but not really interested in selling what I have though. Got a picture of your collection? I like checking these things out. 5/7/2007 2:08:20 PM |

I'm not into pewter really - they look old and dirty, I like resin dragons - I like mood dragons by Franklin Mint, they are so cute! - I don't have a large collection but I'll get some pics in a minute. The pics will be mixed - I collect A LOT of stuff, I'm a figurine junkie. Ignore the dust! My room is a lil dirty at the moment and collects more dust than I do figurines!
Ummm, the dragons on ebay are a bit expensive. I try to buy them in lots where there are 3-5 small dragons for like $20 including shipping. Some of the mood dragon lots (30 dragons) go for $300+, but they are $40 a piece retail. Some of the dragons I would die to have, the larger resin ones that go for $150 plus, but I'm too poor to pay that much. Fairys are expensive, usually $20 a piece. I don't buy many of them. Wizards are harder to find, and a lot of them are ugly. I buy a lot of dolphins and lighthouses on there, they are cheaper. I like swords also, but don't have anywhere to put them. I'd like to have some katanas one day, if I could find decent ones under $100
I added some of my other pictures for interest :-)

If you can't afford them it's probably time to stop collecting, I know a lot of people who have that problem on Ebay. 5/13/2007 11:44:23 PM |

no, I buy the smaller ones which is no problem, its the $200 statues I can't afford, but would love to have and most of the Franklin Mint figurines. I know some people collect them or may be growing out of them, so I figured there may be some people who were willing to get rid of them. 5/14/2007 12:02:51 AM |
