so i recently wrecked my car. The windshield was cracked, front bumper and passenger corner panel got all fucked up as well. eventually i'll trade this car in when i get another car, and am curious how much this will affect the value of my car when i trade it in. has anyone been through this before? if so, how much does that affect the money you get for it when you sell it? 5/8/2007 11:21:12 AM |

if its been repaired. and you get a dumb sales guy/worker to look it over and he completely misses the fact that it was wrecked and repaired... then you will get a good sum.
that happened to my aunt.
she traded in her camry and the sales guy didnt know it was wrecked (neither did my aunt).. and she got full price trade in. then the manager looked at it and saw it had been wrecked. well, the dealership stood up to their word and still gave her the full price trade in.
now thats quality 5/8/2007 2:48:07 PM |

i traded in my 1998 Jeep Cheroke with 100,000 miles to the Acura dealership back in 2002. When i pulled up, i arrived in a big cloud of smoke cause my motor overheated again...
they gave me $4800 for it. which i thought was more than fair since that thing was one problem after another. 5/8/2007 4:57:05 PM |
