That live action series was announced over 2 and a half years ago, absolutely nothing has happened with it since then. No scripts, no casting, nothing.

And yeah, this doesnt sound good...give me a computer-animated version of the Thrawn trilogy (so we can have the original voices at the appropriate age) or give me nothing.

I guess you missed the point of my post. I wasn't saying anything about Spiderman. I was saying that George Lucas calling out a movie for using eye candy to distract from the fact that the story is terrible is pretty ironic.
