so my firefox will go through random spells where it decides to freeze up and i have to go to the task manager and shut it down or whatever

i've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling but it still does the same shit

i'd say 75% of the time when it fucks up is when it's loading a video or audio off of a website

any ideas?

I think OmarBadu is saying quicktime, or windowsmedia plugins, not extensions/addons.

does the same shit for me when loading some flash stuff on ebaymotors auctions.. pisses me off. i get the error saying a script is taking too long and no matter whether i click to stop the script or not it'll lock up
