ok so this one forum website recently changed its backend and coding to be easier to manage

http://www.iac-eve.org/forums/

I used to be able to access it just fine, and can see cached pages, but i can no longer even ping it in command prompt (the forums sub) I cleared the cache at this end and cookies and such but still cannot access the page...

i get the

The server probably has a new IP address and your local computer is using a cached DNS entry that points to the old address is my guess.

meh, managed to fix it by manually removing the HOST references to the site...
