Contact them in person if you can. BTW, this time of year it might take more than a week for professors to reply to e-mails. You don't have a time limit by which the grade must be correct, so take your time and have a little patience.
Things to Do 1) E-mail 2) Wait 3) E-mail again 4) Wait 5) If it's been 2 weeks, contact the department head 6) If you still don't get a reply after a further week, you may have been trying to contact the wrong school. 5/16/2007 11:55:38 AM |

Many faculty leave for a break right after school is over. Many use the summer to get research done that is hard to finish while they are teaching. If you cannot reach the faculty member by email or phone, contact the main department office and find out when the faculty member is expected to be back on campus. Most departmental secretaries and department heads have an idea of summer schedules.
The grade can be changed in the Fall if the faculty member does not return before then. 5/16/2007 2:02:30 PM |

assistant dept head or department head
A lot of professors role out for the summer or work on research and writing. However, when the department head starts trying to contact the professor things will be fixed pretty quick. Also what type of incorrect grade are we talking about? IN, F, several letter grade difference, or are we talking like the difference between B+/A-. You may have to provide documents to support your claims.
When you email the dept head just state you think your grade is in error and the professor has been non-responsive.
This happened to one of the classes I TA a while back, the department head was all over our asses in a hurry trying to figure out the situation
