OK, so this is what I want.

I want to do a picnic lunch and I, of course, want to do it somewhere outdoors in relatively private. I've visited all of the decent parks around here (Duke Gardens, etc) but I don't think they'll be private enough. I don't want to be chatting it up with my lady and have a frisbee land in our basket.

Does anyone know of a location that they would recommend in or around Raleigh (30 mins or closer to the metro)? Ideally, I'd like to have a nice sized, open field, with a big oak tree to park.

Any clues?

I recommend having a picnic at halfcourt of an NBA Playoff game, preferably the Pistons vs. Cavs.

eh, I was thinking of maybe hitting up one of the WNBA games and having some burgers and dogs along with a few shots of testosterone.
