How difficult it is to replace the OE Coils with some 2" lift coils? Are spring compressors really needed for this install? Shocks are an easy replacement, so no issues there. Any other issues to look for? 5/23/2007 5:41:24 PM |

easy. no you don't need a spring compressor. i can type out some basic instructions if you like, but it's really straight forward/self explanatory. 5/23/2007 6:22:23 PM |

take wheel/tires off, take shocks off, put jack stand under one side of axle, lower other side, take coil out, put new coil in......profit.
repeat on the other 3 corners. 5/23/2007 6:28:45 PM |

^^ - Basic instructions would be great! Drop them to me via PM if you want, or here, whichever it easier. Anything to keep an eye out for while doing this? Tricky parts?
^ - those are about as basic of instructions as you'll get!!

^honestly, it really is pretty much as basic as Jeepman put it. the only thing i would add is you might want to unhook the swaybar endlinks. shouldn't be needed with only 2 inch springs though. i also typically drop the whole front/rear axle vs. one side at a time. jackstands under the frame then a floor jack to raise/lower the axle. 5/23/2007 6:48:22 PM |

you'll need to disconnect the sway bar, I did at least when I did mine a couple years ago. 5/23/2007 11:58:12 PM |
