Hey all, I've got a person who doesn't exactly believe me when I tell him that the star pattern for tightening lug nuts is pretty crucial for the balance and spin of the wheel. Can you guys please confirm this for me as I'm having a shit time trying to find something that says more than "Use a star pattern."

its not just lugs..

flywheel, pressure plate, etc. anything with a circular bolt pattern that you want to seat evenly

just have him unbolt his valve cover and then tighten it back down his way.......that should fix him

why tighten them in a star if its a 4 lug or if they are all at the correct specs. i mean its all at the same tourqe settings right lol
