I bought this when I wanted to use my Wii on my 22" LCD. Used it a couple times and now that i'm moving, the consoles will be in the living room. The quality seemed decent, I could only test it out with the Nintendo, not other consoles. With the Wii, I'm not sure if I had the settings all the way correct, as it seemed like the quality could have been improved.

On the off chance someone has a use for this, I'd look for any kind of return on what i spent. I got nailed with overseas shipping.

XBox 360 (and I would imagine the PS3 as well) support monitor connections natively.

Low resolution inputs (Wii, XBox, PS2, Gamecube) will all look poor on LCDs (because of their sharp pixels). These devices are really for someone who wants to hook up their console to a CRT monitor (the upscaled images will look better on a CRT than an LCD).

LCDs with this functionality built in aren't that much more expensive than those without either.

It's a good option for people with CRTs and any old video game console, but it doesn't look like it has a composite input for really old consoles.
