I bought a Saturn ION 3 wrecked and had it fixed. I didnt get any keys with it so we had to have them cut at the dealership etc. I also didnt get a keyless remote but found an OEM replacement cheap, I just need it programmed. I already know that it can't be programmed without a tech II so dont tell me to search online about how to do it. Does anybody on here know of a locksmith or shop with a tech II scan tool that could program it for me cheaper than the $45 that the dealer priced?

45 is actually quite cheap. dodge charges 65 and acura charges around 70. For most systems, you can program keyless fob's yourself provided you have one already programmed and working. You would have to check your manual for that if you can, but for most dodge stuff, you can do it yourself.

ask them if you have your oil changed there instead of somewhere else if they will program it for free
