"For Sale:
I've got a Silver 1998 328i 5 Speed, with the sports package, heated and power seats.
Full OBC.
Harmon Kardon.
104K miles. Still runs perfectly and fast and starts quick even in cold weather.
Production date of 03/98. Clean history, no accidents.
It has M3 bumpers and spoiler installed by dealer.
The engine is completely stock. Tires are Yokohama AVPs, with about 60% tread left. Brakes are about the same.
6 Disc CD Changer
Keyless Entry and Alarm

It was bought as a Certified Pre-Owned car from BMW of Columbus Ohio at 67K miles in approximately June of 2004, at which time the standard BMW Inspection II was performed. I have the service record to show what was replaced. It also had the transmission and clutch replaced at that time too, so it shifts perfectly and smoothly. The interior really is very clean, with very little wear showing on the seats and armrest, 9.5/10 IMO. Glove compartment is starting to sag a bit, but that's an easy fix.
The A/C also still runs cold: able to keep me nice and chilled in these hot summer days.
Sport Wheels have virtually no rash on them. Just the coating is starting to peal in a few places. Not even noticeable from a short distance.

I bought the car with 91.5K miles on it from a member of the forums in July '06.
Since then I have put the on window tint
replaced the brake light switch (pain in the ass to do, btw)
Replaced the Harmon Kardon mid-range speakers in the door
Installed keyless entry and alarm

NEW Asking price of $9,900 OBO
Only reason I am selling is to buy an E36 M3. I would be happy to keep it, but it's time to step up.
VIN = WBACD3328WAV24805

his counter offer to mine was $9600 so i guess if the best offer . i thought my offer was very generous, it was high enough that i was thinking "this is way too high, i will have to lie when my friends ask me how much i paid"

It's a little on the high end of a reasonable price.

If it's exactly what you are looking for, I would spring for it.

well i might have just found a car local thats a lot cheaper (and a lot easier to buy because its local). fingers crossed

^and yeah, if it was in the area i might just say fuck it and shell out the cash for it. but i have to include the price and hassle of buying out of state and that bumps it into the "not worth it" category. i dont think his price is that high, and he might get $9600 if he doesnt mind waiting for a few weeks, but he wouldnt even come down a few hundred more dollars for an immediate sell. if i could be "out the door" for $9600 id take it, but after all is said and done that car would cost me over $10k and thats too expensive.
