Ok...so it was just released today and im jumping on it...... but it has 3 sections: veterinary experience, animal experience, and employment.

my question is: all of my veterinary experience has been paid employment...so under which section should i put it since it says not to repeat any?

also, anyone who is applying to UT, are we supposed to fill out the supplemental form that's online, even though it says for the 2006-2007 year?

My guess is that anything paid is employment, whether that's in a Vet office or not. "Veterinary Experience" is unpaid at a vet or clinical environment - like shadowing a doctor, "animal experience" is unpaid or volunteer work in the field - you grew up tending the family farm or worked with the tigers at CPT.

anything where you work with/under a vet should be vet experience
anything you do with animals while not under a doctors supervision should be animal experience
all other work is employment

also, UT will probably update their supplemental sometime soon. it's only an application where you have to fill out personal info (name, address, etc... and then pay $40) so it's not too important that you get that done anytime soon. i didn't get into UT though, so maybe thats why

I think they only accept you if you have volunteered
