Fellow Wolfpack fans, me and a couple of my friends have started a new sports talk show on WKNC. It's called "The Call of the Wolf" and it airs live every Thursday night from 7-8 pm. We'll be talking about pertinent sports topics on the local and national level every week and taking live calls as well as reading listener's opinions over the air through our AIM service. Just IM "Callofthewolf881" and we'll try our best to get your opinions out there. Also, you can use this thread to recommend topics that you'd like to hear discussed. This week, we're gonna focus on Roger Clemens, Billy Donovan, The NBA Finals, Tank Johnson, as well as several other hot topics. leave the Donovan story alone. Every link on ESPN's site is about it, every sports show has already done it, it is as boring as hearing about TO every 5 minutes.

once a week?? thats way too big of a gap for a general sports radio show... shit moves to fast nowdays, half your material will be overdone by other sources by the time you get around to it... my advice, make it VERY specialized, something like JUST Wolfpack recruiting

i used to do the sports revolution...we had 2 hours and it seemed like we always ran out of time. one hour is going to be tight talking about all of those topics.

this will fail horribly

you have an hour to discuss things that should be taking 3 hours and you arent PTI where you can just cover it and let it go

you're 18 as well so that means you have quite the lack of NC State knowledge that I would like to hear such as inside info, callers that actually KNOW players and stuff like that...

this is a decent idea but TERRIBLE execution on WKNCs part, you need a bigger time slot and obviously more experience

i think sports revolution has been on wknc in some incarnation for the past 5-6 years

and a couple of the talk shows used to be on for 2 hours before wknc (i believe) enacted a rule that 1 hour was the limit for talk

let's give this show a chance before flushing it down the toilet
