Checked... and couldn't find a thread on this one already.

Just watched it... it was pretty entertaining.

Exactly like the first one. Just as much torture and gore (so, not a whole lot, but what's there is pretty cool) and almost as much nudity.

Eli Roth is one sick bastard. So I'm a fan of course. This one is a bit funnier (in a sick way) and has a better twisted ending.

I'm sure everyone will enjoy the "Countess Erzsébet Báthory" like killing.

I can't say this movie was in any way better than the first one. It's pretty much a carbon copy, except in this one the characters are chicks. Also this one goes into more detail as to how the organization behind all of this works. And in this one there is a pair of torturers whose parts are as big and "developed" as some of the victim characters.


But if for some reason you thought the first one was the shit, you'd think the same of this one.

I'm saying it's just as good or bad as the first one...depending how you feel about that one.

Personally, I think it's entertaining enough to check out... but If I had to pay money for it, I don't think it's worth more than $5. So I guess I'm saying it's worth a matinee (if you actually liked the first one) or if you just kinda like the first one, rent it. Obviously if you hated the first one you aren't going to care for this one.

anyone else that saw it...

did you notice in the beginning, when she goes downstairs and finds her boyfriend decapitated infront of the cereal, that as she was entering the room you could her the sounds of someone eating cereal (like a spoon hitting the bowl)

I mean, you could say the cat was making that noise, but I thought it was a stretch.

but not nearly as bad as when they were at the natural hot springs and the model chick kissed the girls back and swam away...and in the 10 seconds the girl had her eyes closed everyone (families) got out of the water and left without making a single noise...

I mean, I know the premise of the movie is kinda dumb, and there are plenty of dumb parts in it, but that kinda stuff always bothers me

so unless someone can read like 5 lines of information at the same time I don't think it would have mattered.

Considering there have been nothing but negative reviews for this movie, I don't think too many people would care anyways for a spoiler for Hostel 2.
