I hate Bush, and this was terrible. I DVRd it, and couldn't even get half way through. I would almost go so far as to say it's the worst TV show i've ever seen. I would rather watch Tom Goes to the Mayor than this crap.

I think "Thats My Bush!" pretty much died due to 9/11...I guess by time it became ok to make fun of Bush again, all the actors had other jobs.

I just wonder, assuming our next President is a democrat, will there be a tv comedy about them too?

I actually give credit to The Daily Show for being somewhat even-handed in their political jabs, giving it to both sides when they deserve it

As far as stuff like That's My Bush and Lil Bush, I find it unlikely that we'll see anything like that under a Democratic president even if they were as goofy as Bush. I'm not saying it's a liberal jew-run conspiracy, but there are a lot more Democrats in show biz, so that just isn't going to fly.

I think The Colbert Report is ok (though not nearly as good as TDS), but what is he gunna do if a Dem gets elected in 08?

I had nothing better to do at the midnight repeat of "Lil Bush" and, let me tell you, it's funny as hell!


No, I'm just fucking with you. It was awful, and they couldn't even make George 1, Barbara, Cheney or Condeleeehoweverthefuckyouspellthatname funny at all.

The problem lies, I believe, with the simple fact that parodies of people are funniest if the people themselves aren't particularly funny. With Bush, the man is just so unintentionally hilarious when he's just being himself that it begs one question of any parody:

Is watchig the parody funnier, or at least as funny, as simply watching the man himself? In the case of "Lil Bush," well, it's not. Not even close. I'd rather watch two hours of interviews with the real "W" than another shitty episode of this laughless show.

Though, to counter what somebody else said, "Lil Bush" was not so bad that it made the giant monster shit that was "Drawn Together" look funny. All it did was give it some company in the "terrible Comedy Central animated shows" dumpster.

I liked how they made Dick Cheney out to be Penguin-like. That was a long time coming.
