1998 Grand Prix GT 3.8L

My driver's side power window motor cables got all bound up and shredded. This happened several months ago. I have a plan to replace the destroyed cables, but I seem to have lost the plastic gear/cable guide wheel that goes inside the motor. Can this piece be purchased individually or do I need to buy a whole new motor (the current one still works fine).

Way too expensive. I will not pay $250 for a $10 part. This part is really not available? Is the auto industry really this incompetent?

no, all you can get is the regulator assembly , the motor, or both, always has been and will be that way

and for fucks sake that sounds like a dealer price, advance has it for $106

I had already found that part at AutoZone. I clearly stated I was interested only in buying the gear in the motor. Learn to read.

Idiot.

In any event, I machined the part myself for free. All's working again.
