"He was here for a day so I got to hang out with him. It was one of the greatest days. Him and a couple of his friends and I laid out at his pool, played horse in the pool, stayed in too long, hands got wrinkled and when we got tired of being in the pool his mom came and grilled some hamburgers and teriyaki chicken with macaroni salad and cookies. It was the BOMB!"

surely he didn't write that, because thats about the gayest thing i've ever read

^^whats wrong w/ hanging in the pool all day w/ buds and eating macaroni salad? it sounds like the only thing missing from the whole was some cold brews.

Nevermind the inherent gayness of an online diary, who writes "It was the BOMB!"

Damn, that does sound like an incredible team for high school players.

And this was posted 6 days ago:

Is he taking summer school, or does Ohio State really go until June?

Ahahaha I do that all the time.

He says he wants to come back and finish at some point, if he skips finals now that is a semester he will have to make up later.

Um, making up three years (six semesters) given that he does finish this year would be next to impossible on a part time basis in the summer of his NBA career. Oh, unless he's on the 98 hour program at Duke for sociology.

I was able to take 13 credit hours one summer during two sessions. If he takes ~12 hours each summer session then he can get it done in just a few years. There's also on-line courses that he could take. It's not like he couldn't take a laptop around and do homework while on the road. David Thompson got his degree, some 30 years later. Lowe kept at it over the years, taking a course here and a course there, and he got his degree. A degree isn't just something to get you a job, for many it's a big personal accomplishment that sets you apart from those that weren't fortunate enough to go to college. Besides once he retires he might use what he learned in college to help him in an analyst job.

I don't recall any reference to an iceman being in that scene.
