Citizen Kane - Directed by Orson Welles

It will play everyday starting Friday, June 15th through Thursday, June 21st at 12:55 PM at the Galaxy Cinema in Cary. This is the first film in our Summer series. As soon as I get confirmation of other films and their dates I'll pass it on.

I actually forgot I made that other thread.

it's a pretty good popcorn movie. the acting's not too shabby, and it has a pretty decent twist ending. the special effects are pretty bad by today's standards, however.

This movie is responsible for 18% of the world's smashed snow globes.

We won't have a Classic this week and probably not next week because we have a big schedule of movies coming out including Sicko on June 29th.

Citizen Kane will run through Thursday and I'll update this thread when I hear about the next title we get.

^^^^^^ you are fucking retarded. Its not a "popcorn" movie, you make it sound like fucking Face Off or Time Cop.

"not too shabby", it has great acting

"effects are pretty bad by todays standards" while technically not incorrect is still a stupid fucking statement. Thats like saying a fucking Amiga is bad compared to a brand new computer, well, no shit, but for its time it had amazing effects; a good majority of which were really subtle but effective.

The movie is just remarkeable, blows my mind how fucking good it is, its perfect.

yepyep. just start carrying around cash. we've been the only independent theatre in the area to accept credit/debit cards. Rising credit card fees make it difficult for us to maintain our low ticket prices, keep our concession prices from rising, and bring you the wide range of films that we present.

Old school, like WaHo (but even WaHo has sold out).

I don't mind carrying cash, I just have to REMEMBER.

Anyone wanna see CK with me today? I want to go but not by myself .
