I have built a new computer and sometimes it hangs at the motherboard logo screen, and I can reset it and it works fine. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to look at?

The motherboard is a Gigabyte m61p-S2 if it matters.

Try updating your BIOS, and/or see if it stores any kind of log. I'm no hardware guru, so I can't tell you much more than that.

I updated the bios. I think it may have to do with my USB wireless device. It works fine, but seems to have some issues.

yeah very well might be. Try having it unplugged for that part in the boot.
