Performing a song off his new solo album (which I thought only starbucks would sell but I guess iTunes does as well).
Anyways, this makes me wonder. How much longer must we wait until The Beatles release their remastered albums on iTunes?
To continue my line of wishful thinking, do you guys think the oft rumored Beatles edition iPod will ever see the light of day?

I figured I would post this here instead of making a new thread:
I really like the new McCartney album and I think it is pretty awesome that he can still make quality music after all this time. 6/18/2007 7:37:05 PM |

From what I heard the legal battle between Apple inc. and Apple records is coming to an end. I think they have struck a deal and will most likely go the route of U2 and make a special Ipod, I heard talks of a yellow submarine ipod. Of course they want to get as much money as possible so I think they will come out with one for the holiday season.
The only thing that I am wondering is did the U2 ipod cost a crazy amount more because it came with a coupon to get their catalog? Because the entire Beatles catalog alone would cost a couple hundred bucks. I never bowed down to apple and got an ipod, but believe me I will be one of the first to get the entire beatles catalog saved in one place. 6/19/2007 9:25:03 AM |

pretty sure the u2 ipod didn't come with anything close to the u2 back-catalog. i think it came with a music video or something.

The U2 edition info
Quote : | "the U2 iPod does come with a $50 off coupon for The Complete U2, a digital box set including more than 400 U2 tracks (all the albums plus 25 B-sides)." |
A beatles edition would be awesome, I'd pay a lot of money for a beatles themed ipod with their catalogue on it.6/19/2007 5:00:42 PM |

Yeah that is what I thought. Hopefully the ipod will have a large chunk of the beatles albums. Having all of them would be a bit insaine.
