i saw that discovery show, but iirc it was more about the guys that run the alaska highway. at least the one i saw.

this one is about the ice road, which traverses very northern points of canada crossing several lakes.

dudes drive trucks across the ice for $texas.

danger, bad weather, etc. ensues.

it's going to be a series, kinda like the deadliest catch thing.

Yea, I think one thing is you dont have the human interactions between the people (they are alone in a truck, if they are sitting aroudn talking they arent making money, so they seem to sleep).

Its kinda interesting when trucks break down, seeing how they move them and such. My guess is towards the end of the season things get worse as the ice starts thinning? Right now the road will probably improve as the ice thickens, therefore we should see less and less problems, at least witht the ice itself, retarded drivers will of course still have issuses.

Kinda intrested to see how the n00bs develop.
