In the summer....how bad is it? It's scheduled for 4 hours twice a week, does it generally last that entire time??

Bad?

I didn't take this lab in the summer...but its the EASIEST life science lab I took in my undergraduate career (tied with Ecology lab).

My section (Spring) never lasted the entire time, or for that matter even close to the entire time. If you have had any lab experience dealing with microbiology, then it will be even easier.

It usually lasted like 45 minutes. You checked your previous lab results, then pipetted some stuff into a plate and left.

yea, micro lab is easy and short. Bio lab on the other hand, pain in the ass.
