I won tickets to the Festival for the Eno by calling into Back Porch Music tonight. I really like all the bluegrass I listen to up there, but don't really know any artists.

There's the link. I only got tickets for one day, and don't know which to go to. Do any of you guys know any of the artists and maybe have a suggestion as to which day would be a good one to pick?

I can't help you with the artists, but I can tell you this:

definitely go on Saturday. that day is always the mostest and the bestest.

whatever you do, you do not want to miss "Mike Craver, Jim Watson, Bill Hicks & Joe Newberry" -- formerly known as the Red Clay Ramblers. if you can only see one band.... see them.

but i would also highly recommend the Rev. Billy C. Wirtz. this dude is a fucking riot.

and Peter Siegel is critically acclaimed, i would definitely check him out if i could be there.

^Thanks. I had a thread for some bluegrass suggestions a while back and didn't really get much help. Thanks for the advice.

I was hoping the Carolina Chocolate Drops would be playing there, but they'll be in Canada that weekend.
