if true, i think this just shows how the wwe is such bullshit. they were apparently planning to continue playing up mcmahon's fake death and use it as a ratings booster, and here apparently they are faced with the real thing. i can see them being like "we'd like to dedicate this show to the memory of the benoit family who were found dead in their home. also to vince mcmahon, whose limo blew up on our pay-per-view event..."

now i really don't think wwe would stoop so low as to fake something like this with an entire family being dead, but i do find it a bit odd that these reports are all originating from the wwe. every other report on the story refers back to the wwe report. you'd think that the story would originate from a local news report and then get picked up nationally, and then at some point during that time it would make it into the wwe news. how would the wwe be able to get confirmation on this and report it before legitimate news sources?

He was supposed to be on the pay-per-view last night but right before the match started they supposedly said that Benoit had to go home for personal reasons and they put Johnny Nitro in his place. Nitro the substitute won, which made me think it was part of some poorly constructed storyline.

Yeah, I think limo angle is going bye-bye.

This sucks, Benoit always seemed "together". He was the one guy that you could look at and could think would win a "shoot" wrestling match.

I hope he didn't off his family and himself and someone else did it. Kinda odd to say, but...

Raw starts at 8 o'clock tonight, and USA didn't change the promo hyping Vince's death.
