I've got Sprint's fair and flexible. 550 minutes among me, my mother, and my sister. $59, one free line, and $10 for the third. 300 texts for free (til september or october; $5/mo/ea after that) for each of them, and 500 for $4 for me.
I've got a 20% discount with USAA, so after taxes and discount, the bill is typically just under $70 each month. 6/25/2007 10:24:13 PM |

alltel ... two lines splitting 1300 minutes with all texts, browsing and photo messages included for both lines plus insurance and 'free' "my circle" for $105 plus fees. 6/25/2007 10:29:31 PM |

IDK if you're looking for something contract-free, but I have been looking into Cricket...they're just now moving into the RDU area. They have a lot of unlimited plans for $60 and under.

I've got Alltel -
1000 anytime, my circle, nights starting at 7pm, and 3 lines (one is free with the $75/mth plan and one is $9.99 per month)
bill around 100 including taxes, and a few texts on there (which I rarely use) - we never use anywhere near 1000 anytime minutes either because of my circle, which is awesome
I've also been with Alltel for over 6 years now, and never had a problem with them, reception has always been great except in the deep woods

Quote : | " Apple and AT&T Release Pricing Info for iPhone
CUPERTINO, Calif. -- AT&T and Apple today said wireless service for the iPhone will range from $59.99 per month to $99.99 per month.
The highly anticipated gadget retails for $499 for a model with 4 gigabytes of storage and $599 for one with 8 gigabytes. It's slated to go on sale at 6 p.m. local time Friday at Apple and AT&T retail stores as well as Apple's Web site.
The $59.99 monthly plan includes 450 minutes of voice time; a $79.99 plan includes 900 minutes; and a $99.99 plan includes 1,350 minutes. All three offer 200 text messages, unlimited data services, minutes that roll over month-to-month and mobile-to-mobile calls. There also is a $36 activation fee.
Apple claims the iPhone _ which combines the functions of a cell phone, iPod media player and Web-surfing device _ will be easier to use than other smart phones because of its unique touch-screen display and intuitive software that allows for easy access to voice mail messages, the Internet, and video and music libraries.
But skeptics wonder whether even the most innovative product can live up to the iPhone's lofty expectations. Scrutiny of the product is so great that any small disappointment could send Apple's stock plunging, analysts say.
Apple shares traded at $123.70 in today's pre-market session, up $1.36 from Monday's closing price of $122.34. AT&T shares traded at $39.24 in the pre-market session, up 16 cents from Monday's closing price of $39.08. " |

Sprint- 500 anytime and 1000 nights and weekends, $39.99. I've had the same plan for 4-5 years now, so it might be more expensive now. 6/26/2007 11:01:39 AM |

Mine is about $100/mo.
Treo 700w, unlimited text messages & internet, 1500 anytime & unlimited nights and weekends. I use mine a lot for work, or I wouldn't use 1/4 of those minutes.... 6/26/2007 11:20:13 AM |

Verizon.
Great coverage around here (way better than Sprint).
2 lines for $58. I got VX8300 phones, which are great, for $30 with a 1yr. contract (it would have been free with a 2yr.). 700 anytime, plus nights & IN-Network. 6/26/2007 1:35:24 PM |

Cingular ...I guess it's AT&T now...450 with roll over and 5000 night and weekends. Unlimited mobile to mobile. I used to have Verizon until recently, but I was having too many dropped calls with them. Plus there are some months when I use a lot of minutes and others when I don't. That's what I like roll over. That way, on those months when I use a lot of minutes, I don't have to pay extra. I guess I'm old because I don't use my phone for anything other than as a phone...very few text messages and i've never downloaded anything anything else with it.
I haven't been with them very long, but so far I haven't had any problems. Plus, I love my phone. Samsung D807 in white. 6/26/2007 2:53:17 PM |

I hate verizon.
it is the shittiest service ive ever had. dropped calls and piss-poor reception... yeah, maybe they have the largest coverage area, but the coverage sucks.
as soon as my contract is up, im going back to Cingular. 6/26/2007 5:11:30 PM |

500 min, unlimited n/w at 5pm, 2 phones, voice mail and all those weenie features- 45.99 mo. Free sprint to sprint calling
The n/w min were the most important. I almost never use my min since I am at work during the day and I have free min when I am not at work.
