A rock flew up and cracked Mindy right in the face. Sad!

I hate it, not only b/c it's a pain in the tush to replace a windsheild, but moreso because it scared the crap outta me.

I've gotten several quotes... looks like b/w $404 - $417.... I suppose that's what insurance is for... just a pain in the butt though.

call GlassMasters in Durham. a lot cheaper than the raleigh one and they did a great job w/ german OE glass. dunno what kinda car you have.

not really besides the fact that you have to pay for it. Otherwise, they do all the work, it doesn't take very long, and new windshields are very nice.

I also suggest Glass Masters in Durham. When a err... rock... cracked my windshield I took my car to them to have the glass replaced. They did a good job, glass is good quality, and they have an awesome guarantee on top of it all. With some insurance companies you get 1 free windshield replacement (that's what I got with State Farm... w00t ).

I named my car, but now that I think of it... I never named the Rebel. whatev-
