anyone listen to them? They are playing here Friday, I have heard good things about them, heard a few song etc, but cant tell if they would be worth going to see or not

they were the first band I saw at SXSW 2003. and they WERE really loud. and showed up entirely by ...And You Will Know us By the Trail of Dead who played right after them who ended their set by smashing all of their shit.

I saw them a few years ago. They were decent, but indeed very loud.

I shit you not, the girl has an individual amplifier for each of her strings.

Saw them twice at the Jinx in Savannah. Much better live than recorded. It's an....experience.

from what I've seen and heard of them their live show is ridiculous, with HUGE stacks of amps and bass. Should be worth it just for the experience.

I am leaning towards Jucifer but everyone else in the group is a bit more laid back, probably end up going to the Unknown Butt show

I ended up going to Unknown Hinson... was worried it would be too gimmicky, but the fucker can play, I was really really impressed. Definitely recommend him to anyone that likes that sort of stuff (and he didnt really play much country, definitely more blues than anything)
