I just and a damned banner ad talk to me. I don't give a shit about iPod nanos I haven't actually won. Please configure your ad service to prevent talking ads. I don't mind the ads. I know they generate cash. However, ads with audio are even more evil than animated flash ads. There's a line between generating revenue and harassing your user base. I promise, I don't need a multi-sensory advertising experence.

IE Folks:
Internet Options > Security > Restricted Sites

Add ads.jolinko.com to prevent a large amount of these annoying ads from loading.

So what happens to their ad revenue when everyone starts using ad-blocker?

^ ive been wondering about that too. do the advertisers know its been blocked, or do they think its a view?

i also notice a lot more ads on some sites going to adobe flash, which dont get adblocked.

I work for the advertisers. The answer is yes, TWW still gets paid if the user has adblock.

^^^

Maybe put together and send an informal survey to the advertisers showing them how many users have switched to using ad-block. If advertisers start pulling ads maybe TWW will be opt for requiring less annoying ads.

And when you don't like what someone does with a product you:

1) Complain and hope they fix it

then

2) Stop using it

-Or-

3) Take it up the ass and accept it.

Not sure why step one confuses you.
