Based on an assumption of no new trades (unlikely I know), post a mock draft of what you would do if you were the GM picking for each team at each pick--as it is now. This will differ from most mock drafts as you should put what you would do without the option of a trade, not what you expect to happen.
1) Portland- Greg Oden (given) 2) Seattle- Kevin Durant (given) 3) Atlanta- Al Horford (need his post presence or a PG) 4) Memphis- Acie Law (best PG prospect right now) 5) Boston- Corey Brewer (good defender and could play alongside Pierce) 6) Milwaukee- Yi Jianlian (potential to develop into a solid player and bring some excitement) 7) Minnesota- Mike Conley (could still use him) 8) Charlotte- Al Thornton (underrated scorer that could help them right now) 9) Chicago- Joakim Noah (energy guy, could fit in with that lineup, Ben Wallace isn't getting any younger) 10) Sacramento- Brandon Wright (rebuilding time--worth an "upside" pick) 11) Atlanta- Javaris Crittenden (after getting Horford they need the best available point who also has Atlanta ties) 12) Philadelphia- Julian Wright (may take a little time but should be a solid player) 13) New Orleans- Nick Young (could take pressure off of Chris Paul right away, Almond could also work) 14) LA Clippers- Spencer Hawes (west coast guy, they need someone that can match up better to the 5s) 6/28/2007 3:08:49 PM |
