I'm leaving for Las Vegas in about 2 hours and was wondering which magic show was the best. I couldn't find anything through searching tdub and google searches don't really get me anywhere. Thanks 7/2/2007 3:43:35 AM |

Just go to a strip club, where girls can make their clothes disappear.

There is a show at Hard Rock that currently features Pamela Anderson. I don't recall the name of the performer. I saw them on the Today Show two weeks ago talking about it. 7/2/2007 8:12:38 AM |

I've seen Penn and Teller as well as Lance. I liked Penn and Teller better. I've also heard the Amazing Jonathan is good too. 7/2/2007 8:35:27 AM |

The Amazing Johnathan is pretty funny. It's more like a raunchy comedy/magic show than all-out OMG MAGIC!! but still a good time. 7/2/2007 8:49:43 AM |

I'd second Amazing Jonathan. I haven't see his show in Vegas, but I've seen him plenty on Comedy Central to think it would be a good time in person. 7/2/2007 9:35:24 AM |

Saw Penn & Teller. Definately worth seeing. I wanted to see Amazing Jonathan, but I went to see the Blue Man Group at Luxor. Good shows all around though 7/2/2007 10:30:43 AM |

wait, what is Danny Gans? A Comedian?
I've only been to shows in Vegas. Saw LeReve when my best friend worked on it and saw the first dress rehearsal of Spamalot (where she works now) and sat next to Steve Wynn and Eric Idle. /no homo.
I saw Zumanity last time I was out there as well - it was good. We'll be seeing Love in August. 7/2/2007 9:12:43 PM |

Danny Gans is in the tradition of Sinatra as a total entertainer. He sings a little, acts a little, makes somes jokes, etc.
I'd say to avoid David Copperfield like the plague. It's terrible. Check out the Improv Comedy show at Harrah's. It's generally top talent there. Maybe not top-top talent, but I've always left laughing.
I thought KA rocked, but as far as magic goes, I'll go with the Lance Burton suggestions.
**Note: Blue Man Group is only worth it if you're really close to the front. Otherwise you're watching others enjoy the show** 7/3/2007 2:41:46 AM |
