i just got my first turntable in the mail today. i've got it all set up, but the sound volume is fairly low. i think i've got it set on phono out, with the RCA cables plugged into my stereo (set on AUX), but when i turn the stereo all the way up, it's still a bit soft.

do i need to get an amplifier? i thought the preamp would do the job for me.

nevermind, i figured it out. i had to have it switched to LINE OUT!! HAHA.

now it's nice and loud. OH HELL YEAH.
