^yeah but playing online and playing with friends are completely different. The atmosphere isn't as fun when you have people you know in the same room with you and everyone is all yelling about what the hell is going on.

my favorite thing to do to my friends in melee was just annoy the crap out of them. my favorite things to do

1: DK: my patented suicide move, a must use when you have more lives than your opponent--grab them with the throw button and walk off a cliff to both of your deaths. can also be done with kirby's suck move buts its harder.
2: yoshi: his poke move (crouch+attack) is super annoying and long range, spam it to drive your friends insane. also lure people to the side then swallow them and watch the egg drop off the cliff. also spam the egg toss any chance that you get. that will get under their skin really quickly
3: pichu: on hyrule temple get on the lower level and spam thunderbolt on people above.
4: jigglypuff: his forward+special move overrides pretty much every move in the game. its amazing. you can chain it by repeatedly changing directions and usually they cant counter. use it as much as possible. also if you are feeling extra cute you can jump in close and use the super sleep attack without singing. its usually worth the risk but its hilarious when it connects, similar to luigi's uppercut move. and the rolling move is made of win.

id say yoshi and puff probably have the most potential to annoy.

How is your DK suicide thing "patented" ? I've seen people do that [myself included] for years.

It's also kinda fun to do Fox or Falco's secret reinforcement call on one of the Starfox levels. When they are doing it, it looks really weird and most people who haven't seen it before are kinda scared to go near you.

If you are playing on the Corneria or Venom systems as Fox or Falco, you can call in an Arwing attack on your enemies. Find a nice corner to yourself when the other guys are fighting and push left and right in succession on the D pad really quickly. After a few seconds, Fox will spin around and duck down for about 20-30 seconds (you are extremely vulnerable at this point). If nobody attacks you, Slippy or Peppy will come on over the radio and say something like "Enemies locked on" or "I see them on my radar" then a few Arwings will come in and shoot at them. You can only do this once per round.

I used to back when I was in school. I competed in a few tournaments in the BAR but usually got my ass handed to me in the later rounds. I would take you up on that offer I were still in town, I destroy everyone around here when I play them. If you are really eager for some competition, PM me and I'll give you some info on some people I used to smash with who would regularly compete in regional tournaments. It is ridiculous just how good they are.

Given that Solid Snake is in the game and Sonic and Mario are already teaming up for that Olympics game, the likelihood of Sonic making it in is VERY VERY high. It's such an obvious match.
